โš™๏ธ Settings

The Settings menu provides control over stick deadzones, device polling speed, and script maintenance. These options affect how the script interprets your inputs and how your console communicates with the Cronus Zen.

Available settings:

  • Deadzone Left
  • Deadzone Right
  • Device VM Speed
  • Reset Script

๐ŸŽฎ Deadzone Left / Deadzone Right

Range: 0 โ†’ 25

These settings replace the in-game Movement Inner Deadzone (Left Stick) and Look Inner Deadzone (Right Stick). By setting in-game deadzones to 0 and configuring them through the script instead, you get:

  • More consistent anti-recoil
  • More accurate tracking
  • Better micro-movement precision
  • Cleaner stick input across different controllers

Deadzone Left

Controls the movement stick (L3). Recommended to match the value your controller required in-game.

Deadzone Right

Controls the aim/look stick (R3). Also recommended to match the value your controller previously used in-game. If you skipped the earlier setup, refer back to Getting Started to ensure these values are correct.

โšก Device VM Speed

Options: 4ms / 8ms / 10ms / Automatic

This setting controls the Virtual Machine poll rate โ€” how quickly the Cronus Zen:

  1. Reads your input device
  2. Sends updated inputs to the console

Automatic Mode

Automatically selects the correct VM speed based on the device detected:

  • 4ms for PlayStation
  • 8ms for Xbox

This is the recommended mode for most controller users.

Manual VM Speed Selection

You may set a specific value if needed:

  • 4ms โ€” PlayStation controllers
  • 8ms โ€” Xbox controllers
  • 10ms (or 8ms) โ€” Recommended for Mouse & Keyboard passthrough users
    • Do NOT use lower than 8โ€“10ms with M&K
    • Lower rates may cause jittery tracking or inconsistent input

What VM Speed Does

A lower VM speed means the device is polled more frequently, providing:

  • Smoother inputs
  • Faster reaction time
  • Improved responsiveness

But only if supported by the connected device. Using a VM rate too low for your device may reduce stability.

๐Ÿ”„ Reset Script

Options: Press to Reset

Fully resets the script back to its default settings, clearing:

  • All Anti-Recoil tuning
  • All Aim Assist values
  • All profile-specific weapon settings
  • All Options and Movement choices
  • All Deadzones and VM Speed settings

Use this if:

  • You want a clean start
  • Your settings are out of sync
  • You made changes you no longer remember
  • Youโ€™re troubleshooting unexpected behavior

After resetting, run through the Getting Started setup again.
