Anti Recoil

Anti-Recoil automatically compensates for weapon recoil to help keep your aim steady. You can choose from simple one-value modes to advanced, weapon selection modes for maximum precision.

Required Settings for Anti-Recoil

To ensure Anti-Recoil functions correctly, make sure the following settings are enabled:

In-Game Settings (Battlefield 6):

  • Open SettingsAccessibility
  • Scroll down to the Controller sub-menu
  • Highlight Controller Vibration and set it to ON
  • Highlight Vibration Intensity and set it to 100

For PlayStation 5 consoles and DualSense 5 controllers on PC only:

  • Highlight Adaptive Triggers – Weapon Fire and set it to 100%
  • Highlight Adaptive Triggers – Weapon Zoom and set it to 100%

Modes Explained

  • Off – Disables anti-recoil.
  • Basic – Uses a single Strength value for simple recoil control.
    • Strength – Main anti-recoil value
  • Advanced – Adds an initial kick stage for finer control:
    • Strength – Main anti-recoil value
    • Kick Strength – Initial value applied for the duration of Kick Time
    • Kick Time – Duration before switching to main Strength
  • Expert – Full customization for vertical and horizontal recoil across three stages:
    • Start Strength – Applied for the duration of Start Time
    • Mid Strength – Applied for the duration of Mid Time (after Start Time ends)
    • End Strength – Applied after Mid Time ends
    • Start Time – Duration for Start Strength
    • Mid Time – Duration for Mid Strength
  • Weapon Select – Lets you manually pick the weapon profile you’re using.
    • Best option available.
    • Each profile has its own Vertical and Horizontal values, adjustable to match your sensitivity and aim response curve settings.

Recoil Tuning Tip #1

  • If your weapon pulls down too much → Decrease Recoil Value.
  • If your weapon pulls up too much → Increase Recoil Value.

Recoil Tuning Tip #2

The specific value you adjust depends on the Anti-Recoil mode you’re using:

  • Basic → Adjust the Strength value
  • Advanced → Adjust Strength and Kick Strength
  • Weapon Select → Adjust the Vertical Value and Horizontal Value.

Quick Controls

Quick Controls are button shortcuts that let you adjust Anti-Recoil on the fly without opening the script menu.

Strength Adjustment (Basic / Advanced / Expert)

  • Hold ADS + Tap Share/View → Opens recoil adjustment screen.

Weapon Selection Mode

  • Hold ADS + Tap Share/View → Opens weapon select screen.
  • Hold ADS + Hold Share/View → Goes straight to Vertical Value.

The following controls are used within the weapon selection screen when using the Weapon anti-recoil mode.

  • Press L1/LB or R1/RB or Left/Right → Changes weapon category.
  • Press Up/Down → Cycle through weapons.
  • Press L2/LT or R2/RT → Cycle through weapons (skipping 2 at a time).
  • Press Cross/A → Selects weapon.
  • Quickly Double-Tap Cross/A → Selects weapon and exits the screen.
  • Press Circle/B → Exits the weapon selection screen.
