Zen Link Setup Guide

Follow these steps to correctly install and configure your Zen Link for native PS5 supportno bypass or Remote Play required.


  1. Connect Zen Link in Config Mode
    • Hold the blue button on your Zen Link.
    • While holding, connect it to your PC.
    • Wait until the LED flashes red, blue, and green, then release the blue button.
  2. Update the Firmware
    • Open the latest Zen Link Configurator app.
    • On the right-hand side, locate the section titled “Native PS5 Firmware.”
    • Click the orange “NATIVE PS5” button to start the update.
    • When the update completes, disconnect the Zen Link from your PC.

Step 2: Disable Bluetooth on PS5 Console

  1. Turn Off Bluetooth
    • Go to SettingsAccessoriesGeneralAdvanced Settings.
    • Select Turn Bluetooth Off.
    • Your console will automatically reboot when Bluetooth is disabled.

  1. Attach Zen Link to Cronus Zen
    • Plug the Zen Link into the left-side A1 port on your Cronus Zen.
    • Wait for the LED to turn green, then light blue — this confirms a successful link.
  2. Connect Your Controller
    • Plug any compatible controller into the front-left USB port (A3) on your Cronus Zen.

✅ Setup Complete

Your Cronus Zen and Zen Link is now ready for native PS5 support. Enjoy seamless gameplay — no bypass, no Remote Play, and no input delay.

Important

If you experience connection issues, failed firmware updates, or your Zen Link is not detected by the Configurator, perform a Factory Reset before trying again.


If you need to perform a factory reset, follow these steps carefully:

  1. Prepare a Small Object
    • Use a pin, paperclip, or similar small object.
  2. Enter Reset Mode
    • Insert the pin into the small hole on the bottom of the Zen Link.
    • Press and hold while connecting the Zen Link to your PC.
    • Keep holding until the LED flashes red → green → blue, then begins flashing red.
  3. Reset Complete
    • When the LED flashes red, the factory reset is successful.
    • You can now release the pin.
  4. Reinstall Firmware
    • Open the Zen Link Configurator app.
    • In the Native PS5 Firmware section, click the orange “NATIVE PS5” button to reinstall the firmware.
